How much is it to hire?
Our hire prices are dependent on the sling or carrier, with different types being in a different price band. Prices also depend on the length of time you wish to hire. All prices can be found here
How long can I hire for?
Our standard options are 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or 3 months but you can arrange a different length of hire by contacting us.
Where can I hire from?
You can pick up from a home address in Welwyn village or arrange a collection at a sling library session.
Where can I browse the collection?
First I'd advise you to look through the collection we have online to get a rough idea of what you are after. If you need help or advise please just get in touch and send an email to email@example.com
If you are stuck between a couple of options when at the library session then just ask to see both options. Often the consultant is able to recommend what might be the best option for you based on their knowledge. Or there is the option to hire both.
Unfortunately, there is no time during the library sessions to browse the choices and try on multiple carriers. This would be something to explore in a babywearing consultation.
How do I return a carrier?
If you have hired through a library session and your hire length extends to the next session then you can return to the next library session. If your return date is before a scheduled library session , or if you collected from our home address then please arrange a return to the home address in AL6.
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
The £50 deposit is to cover the library should anything happen to the carrier. In most cases the deposit does not cover the full purchase of a new carrier so if the carrier needs replacing because of damage during the hire period then the cost to replace will need to be paid by you.
You will get the full deposit back via bank transfer as soon as the carrier has been returned without damage. If the carrier is kept over the return date then the deposit will be used to pay for the late return fees. Once the carrier is returned then any remaining deposit will be returned.
